Das Objekt ist ein Werbemittel für die erste Pille Enovid. Auf der Vorderseite ist Andromeda, eine Frau aus der griechischen Mythologie dargestellt. Diese befreit sich von den Ketten, in die sie gelegt war. Eine Symbolik für das damals neue Verhütungsmittel.
