Speton tablets

This method of contraception was used in conjunction with vaginal douches. It was said to kill sperm. The object consists of 12 Speton tablets, located in a plastic container that is sealed with a cork.

A black, bound Stork is printed on the cork. Four coats of arms are depicted on the plastic container.

Information written on the packaging: patent-protected trademark. Nassovia chemical factory, Hamburg-Neugraben. Tablet ingredients: sodium dichloryl-sulphamidbenzoate, dioxy-succinic acid, sodium bicarbonate.
