Highlights July
At present, parsley’s yellowish-white flowers are blooming in our gardens. They, and even more the plant’s seeds, contain plenty of essential oils, including poisonous apiol. In folk medicine, parsley was employed for abortions. Using this method isn’t advisable, as it bears risks, from allergic reactions to cardiac arrest.
More than 70 different models of coils are on display in our museum, though few of them are actually shaped liked coils. The nearly endless variety includes many aesthetically attractive specimens. The effectiveness of the individual prototypes is, however, another matter. The Polygon’s a Danish model from the 1960s.
